Pastor Faith healer, pastor and author Chris Oyakhilome is known to his fans as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also known as Christ Embassy. It is based in Lagos. His unique interpretation of God's Word has been a source of inspiration for millions across the globe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry encompasses the entire family. Reverend Ken is Ken's older brother and member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. The LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home to many gospel artists, who are among the top sellers globally.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow her father's model of sharing the gospel of God with the world and is also called CSO She is a gifted, award-winning gospel singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies in Edo College. After a grant was made to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.

The Man of God created what would eventually become one of the biggest church congregations in the world when he was still a student at the university. He had an unassuming prayer group known as "Youth for Christ," that eventually grew into one of one of the largest groups of its kind on campus. It would later serve as the foundation of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the world.

The LoveWorld ministry was founded under the leadership of Pastor Chris. It's a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa to the rest, all the time via free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are accessible on satellite and cable networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's native Nigeria. The ministry has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris holds seasonally sessions which allow miracles to happen.

His charity also provides support for children in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid communities are backed by COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
