Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first of his family to be born. He completed his primary and secondary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with a BSc.


AAU also granted the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was earlier was married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.

YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church's headquarters. The Believer's LoveWorld has millions of followers and associates around the globe.

BLW became the most well-known Christian ministry on TV across Africa thanks to its atmosphere for miracles programme in 2002. The program was canceled in May 2004 , when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria announced that churches should cease airing miracles.

Pastor Chris's Ministry includes four branches: publishing ministry; the healing ministry, television ministry; and the teaching ministry. He has also created the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, an environment that encourages miracles and a healing school.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation has been established to investigate and enhance the leadership potentials Africans. The foundation supports young Africans who exhibit leadership qualities and have positive effects on their generation. They do this by providing education in youth empowerment, as well as mentorship.

The foundation acknowledges the work of these young leaders with an award ceremony dubbed the Future Africa Leaders" Award. This award ceremony was established five years ago and holds on the Eve of each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena (LCA) Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja. The president of BLW - Reverend Chris Oyakhilome presents an award to the winners.

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was established to assist the poor homeless, depressed, orphaned and children who are vulnerable .

The foundation assists these deprived children and their families through long-lasting and inclusive interventions, which include child development programs as well as childcare programs Family strengthening programmes, InnerCity Mission for Children School and many more.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The TraumaCare International Foundation was created in order to improve quality of life and health for the local community. They also promote improved emergency response services when there are accidents or emergencies. The foundation is positioned to assist national policies on trauma care by promoting community-based programs, health education, and advocacy.



The foundation has run more than 1000 first-aid and safety training. They have taught thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers as well as road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC)
The Volunteer Medical Corps is an international medical outreach for christians. It offers relief supplies, medical aid, and also education to refugees as well as internally displaced people within affected regions.

The outreach team includes paramedics, students and christian workers from all over the world. The volunteers offer relief assistance, medical aid and sustainable solutions to those living in communities and areas in need.
